Domaine Chapel - Beaujolais Villages (2023)
Domaine Chapel Beaujolais-Villages is a natural, organic and vegan red wine made with the Gamay variety in the AOC Beaujolais-Villages denomination in France by Domaine Chapel.
The son of one of France’s leading chefs, David Chapel and his wife Michelle decided to set up their own project in the village of Régnié. With organic vineyards located in the best parts of Beaujolais, they produce delicious and high-quality wines. These are natural productions whose main hallmark is the elegance they exude.
Domaine Chapel Beaujolais-Villages comes from various plots of decomposed granite sand lying 380-440 metres above sea level. The vines are between 40 and 50 years old and are grown organically and without the use of chemical products that could damage the environment. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
When the Domaine Chapel Beaujolais-Villages grapes reach the winery, they are meticulously selected and, keeping all of the stems on, they undergo a semi-carbonic maceration. The wine is then aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Finally, it is bottled without being filtered, clarified or adding sulphites.
Domaine Chapel Beaujolais-Villages is a pure, direct and crisp red wine from the best parts of Beaujolais-Village. A delicious Gamay full of natural aromas to drink by the litre.
